Love, Juliebug: April 2012
As you all know I am Super-Mom. Oh wait, no I'm not.
I'm not even close but that's the point right? I mean, Super-Mom isn't real no matter what people say or think.
There are currently dishes on my counter, clothes in my dryer, and my toilet needs to be cleaned. But, you know, that's okay. It is. And, I have to keep telling myself that playing with our 3.5 year old is the most important thing I can do all day.
Keep this in mind. You cannot do everything. You have to pick and choose. Super-Mom is as real as Hogwarts. Wait, Hogwarts isn't real? Bummer.
Ok, there are limits I know, like when you run out of forks...Hm. I better be going for now.
Those dishes won't wash themselves, darn it. ;)
I'm sure many of you are wondering how life is going in Wyoming. It has, after all, been about 6 weeks since we moved. How is THAT possible by the way? The short answer? Good. Want me to elaborate? Yeah, I thought so.
It's different here. Duh. Moving from the desert to the plains will obviously be a bit of a change.
Yes it is colder, also a given. Also, it is calmer. Slower. More peaceful. Smaller yet bigger. There are less people and way more space. I mean look at this.

and this...

and this is the view from our church's parking lot.

There are lots of parks. Trees. One way streets (in downtown anyway). One Walmart. One Target. No Walgreens on every corner though we do have a couple. There are boots at various spots around town. Boots. I do not lie. Oh and ignore the construction cone on the other side of the boot. I didn't notice it when I snapped this extremely touristy type photo. ;)

It is windier here and the weather has a mind of it's own. The other day it was 77 and a few days later it was 37 or so. Craaazy stuff. The people are pretty friendly. A lot of the churches are more old fashioned. Not a big deal but we were not looking for that dynamic.

Anyway, so that's a little bit about life in Wyoming. More to come soon, I promise!
For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. John 3:16-17

Today is Good Friday. What does that mean? It's the Friday before Easter. And, it has significance because it is the day that Jesus went to the cross and died for our sins. Easter is the happy day. It's the day Christ came back to life from the dead. But, Good Friday doesn't sound very good. It is good for you and I because it gives us hope. Hope that we will have an eternity with God in heaven. Sunday is coming.

I know that many of you don't share my beliefs. Some of you may think I am a fool for my beliefs. That's okay. I'm not here to convince you. It takes a step of faith to believe. But, I truly pray that you at least consider the fact that YOU were worth dying for.

Here is a song that I adore and it has a wonderful meaning for this Easter season. The video is graphic as it has scenes from the movie The Passion of the Christ in it. Just a warning for you all.
