I am so completely aware of the blessings I have. Especially today. On a daily basis it is easy to lose sight of just how blessed I, we, are. But I pause today and let it sink in.

A blue eyed, blonde haired girl twirling in her Easter dress. Joyfully examining her Easter basket. Sneaking another piece of chocolate. Blowing bubbles.
A man who loves his Savior and family beyond comprehension. A gentle kiss. Balancing sound at the Easter services. Fully immersed in the sights and sounds.
Family and friends that make me smile daily. Near and far away. Each are in my heart for their own special reasons.
A house that is warm (and cluttered). That smells of delicious food. That keeps my loved ones safe.
And last but most certainly NOT least, a Savior who came to earth, died for our sins, and didn't stay dead. God's not dead, He's surely alive!

The largest theater we have here has twelve screens. Not 16. Not 24. Why do I like this? There are less choices to get caught up in. Less of an "I can spend lots of money on entertainment" vibe in my opinion. Of course, if we NEED more movie choices Colorado is nearby.

It snows. (and blows but that doesn't not make this list) The fact that it can spontaneously snow might freak some people out. Driving in it still has the aptitude to do so for me. However, I LOVE the possibility that there could be snow on the ground when I wake up in the morning. I'm a kid at heart after all.

The schools aren't as big. I am hoping this means more personal attention. I've not had personal experience with this as Abby doesn't start school until August but I've been told by many people that the schools are great.

There are horses (and buffalo) around. I like being able to drive and see a country like atmosphere. It's pretty around here to me. Trees, grass, open space.

We are only 3 hours from my sister-in-law. I love that woman.

We are not far from the Denver Airport. This I like because if we have friends and family visit we don't have far to go to get them! ;)

My friends. God continuously puts awesome women in my path. People I love to spend time with. I am so thankful for my friends, here and everywhere.

With my luck, I should be Irish. Actually, I don't really believe in luck I believe in blessings. But for the sake of argument I will call myself lucky. I am, you know, lucky in so many ways. Here I am going to be talking about a very tangible sort of luck. Giveaways. And, as a preface, this post is NOT to brag. It's written from a place of awe and wonder. An "omgoshIwonsomethingelse?!" sort of thing. Have you won anything recently? In the last few months? In the last year? Ever? Here's the thing about me. Since May 2012 I have won...twenty things. Possibly more as I wasn't keeping track. I am now. But, holy moly, 20?! And to prove I'm not joking here is a list of the things I have kept track of that I won!
