More Than We Can Handle?

I realize this is a controversial statement to some. That being said, I still believe it's true.
I've experienced it in my own life and have seen it to be true in the lives of others as well.
It doesn't make Him a vindictive God. No, it makes him a loving God.

This life is hard, my friends. I know that first hand. As a parent, if you were watching your children about to do something dangerous, like say - walk into oncoming traffic - you would know you need to stop them. You'd know what was about to happen. So, you'd need to make them turn around in their tracks.
Walking through this life is the exact same thing.

It's dangerous.
NONE of us will get out alive.
I'm not saying this to freak you out but it's true.

And, God knows what will happen at every step.
There are no surprises for Him.
Without turning to Him we are, quite frankly, walking into oncoming traffic.
God doesn't want that for us.

This struggle with anxiety has taught me something.
I am NOT strong enough to overcome this.
Not alone.

I need the power of the One who makes all things new.
I need Him more than I could have fathomed and I never would have known to this extent had I not gone through all this crud to get here.

He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken.
Psalm 62:6
