Love, Juliebug: December 2013
I have an announcement to make. I am a slacker. Why am I telling you this? Guilt. All my favorite bloggers have continued to be blogging away over the holidays. And, I have not. Oh I have blog ideas and such but they do not come to fruition. Especially at this time of year I am just too stinking busy.
So, while other bloggers are sharing their Christmas photos, Top 10 Blog Posts of 2013, and New Year's Resolutions...I am writing this. I love you all and I will have excellent posts coming up in 2014 but you will have to wait until then to read them! Hope you all had an excellent Christmas and that your New Year is safe and fun.

Being five years old, my daughter is quite fond of dolls. So, when given the opportunity to review a new doll I was super excited to do so. Zeenie Dolls are unlike any I've seen. We got Zennia and she is beautiful. She has large eyes, a cute pixie mouth and long bluish hair.
What I first loved about these dolls is that they are not typical. I mean, they aren't scary and freaky but they are definitely not the normal fashion doll. Second, they are all about helping the earth. Zennia, also known as Mother Earth,is the giver and sustainer of life on Earth’€™s biosphere. As our planet’€™s greatest protector, Zennia knew that she could not combat the evil anti-environment forces on her own. Thus, five eco-warriors were born with unique super powers to help her strike the villains down. Their names are Kazumi, Lina, Sina, Evee, and Yana. Each one is unique and lovely in their own way.

They are made from recycled materials as well which I think is great! Plus, the Zeenie Dollz also come standard with 12 ball joints offering much more flexibility and movement during play time. For more information please use the links below.

Today marks an important day in our lives. 17 years ago we said I do. Yes, 17 but we were married when I was 9. Ahem. Moving along. It doesn't even feel like ten never mind seventeen! Time flies when you're having fun. I could list all the qualities I love about my guy but I've done that before. Instead I will share some photos with you and share five qualities of our marriage that has helped us get to where we are. Happy Anniversary to you my sweetie!

What are we celebrating, you ask? Oh, nothing major. Just the fact that I can wear nail polish again!! That's right my fingers are done with the hand, foot, and mouth fiasco. Though in other news I recently had a toe nail pop off. That's right, just pop off with a perfectly new nail underneath. Wacky. But, back to the matter at HAND.

As a way to ease back into the nail fashion world (Is that real?) I want to share some of my favorite nail pins with you. They are all from my Nail Polish Love Board on Pinterest. I like them all for different reasons and cannot wait to try one of them!

Recently, I was given the opportunity to try My Hikes. I don't know about you but in our house we are constantly on the search for pants that fit right. When I find a pair that fits well in the waist it is inevitable that the length is too long. It is an ongoing issue with her pants. So, when I heard about My Hikes fasteners I was quite excited! Basically you fold the pants up and clip them into places with the My Hikes. There are currently six styles available, for both boys and girls. I received the flower ones. They are adorable little clips and the best part is they really work!

For my readers there is currently a special of 40% off the list price at the My Hikes website using the code  MyHikes40off. For more information you can check out their Facebook page too!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Sponsored by:  The Cuddle Barn

I am always on the hunt for cute, new gift ideas.  I like gifting things that are unique, things that not everyone has.  Recently, while browsing on Facebook, I came across a company called The Cuddle Barn.  After looking through their website, I just fell in love with their singing, talking  and animated plush animals!  Their mission?  Making YOU smile!

My daughter just loves toys that talk to her, so I knew she was going to be thrilled when I showed her the Mother Goose I received to review!  She talks for over 90 seconds in the sweetest, calmest voice telling your child their favorite nursery rhymes!  She reads:  "Jack & Jill", "Hickory Dickory Dock", "Little Bo Peep", "Humpty Dumpty" and "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".  I love how at the end, she tells your child Good Night.

Watch the video to see how sweet she is:

Cuddle Barn's Mother Goose would be perfect for a child of any age and makes a great gift idea for Birthdays and Christmas!  They have an idea for any occasion.  I love their Christmas gifts such as the Storytime Bear.  Baby Boo would be perfect for a 1st Birthday party or Baby Shower gift!

There are a lot of photo book sites. I'm constantly seeing them so you are probably thinking what's the big deal about Presto Photo. I honestly love them. That sounds a bit drastic for a photo book site but I've been looking for a place where I can make books exactly how I want to in an easy fashion.

Make your book as unique as you is one of their taglines and I accept the challenge. I think it's awesome that I can not only drag and drop photos into layouts but I can upload my digital scrapbook pages and make a book. Did you hear that? The Hallelujah chorus. Making scrapbook pages is time consuming and I have been wanting to get them printed. This is the easiest and least expensive way I've found.
Also, I'm fairly certain Presto Photo has the most variety of covers and papers that I've seen anywhere. Not to mention the fact that they have many sizes from tiny to large and all sorts in the middle. You can also make cards and calendars on their site. Although I've not tried this it looks just as simple!
I'm super excited to have found this company and hope you love it as much as I do.

Recently, my daughter and I received The Otter, The Spotted Frog & The Great Flood by Gerald Hausman. It's very similar to the story of Noah's Ark and we couldn't help but draw comparisons there.
When Spotted Frog tells of a great flood that is about to destroy their homes, all of the animals ignore his warnings, except Listener the Otter. Ridiculed by the other animals, Listener heeds Spotted Frog’s predictions and begins to build a raft to try and survive the impending disaster. But will his efforts be enough?
This books warns us to listen to the wisdom of nature and the environment in a very sweet way. The illustrations are precious and we enjoyed reading it.

The winner of the giveaway is Heather T.

This fun, exciting movie will be coming out on Blu-ray/DVD on December 17th BUT I have great news! Today you can get it on Digital HD from such sites as iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play!
We will also be having a giveaway for the Blu-ray/DVD combo pack within the week, so check back!
I still struggle with anxiety sometimes but not nearly as often. It happens when I am eating too much sweets, not getting enough sleep, not spending time with God, or (surprise, surprise) trying to suppress my emotions. Taking a few deep breaths helps me as does saying a prayer. It seems a lot of my anxiety hits at night. I know I am not alone in this so I thought I'd share this prayer I found on Pinterest.

May it bring you comfort as it does me.
A Prayer for When I Can't Sleep- this week's Whimsical Wednesday post. Bloggers- love to have you link up!
