More from Julie:
It has been ages since I wrote. Possibly eons. My apologies for not checking in at least a little. Once again life has been busy. I am fairly certain I'm not the only one. It seems like everyone's life is pretty busy right now. So, now that you forgive me (I hope) would you like to hear some major news?

I am starting school on Monday. School! As in college. Yes, I am 39. And, yes I just revealed my age again. I've wanted to go to college for years so this is not a new desire. However, I surprised myself by actually going for it. I am going to be studying to be a Medical Assistant. That may shock some of you that know me face to face. I am squeamish with needles and blood. It's true. But, I've decided I am going to put myself out there and DO it instead of just thinking about it for the rest of my life.

I've had lots of medical professionals in my life that sucked. Just being honest here peeps. I've also had lots that were warm and kind. I want to be the second kind of medical assistant. I'm asking for your thoughts and your prayers though because I am truly nervous about it all. Why? Because I tend to doubt my abilities. Because I've never been to college. Because, ahem, I graduated over 20 years ago.

So, I might be crazy but I am crazy nervous and crazy excited for this new adventure. Keep reminding me of this as I face College Mathematics and Speech. Oh, and phlebotomy but let's not talk about that yet. I'll take it as it comes because, folks, I can do ALL things through Him who gives me strength.

You're looking at a college student!
