#ThursdayThirteen :: Books I Loved As A Kid

Today I thought I'd share thirteen books I loved as a kid. I've always been a reader. The reading bug bit me at a young age. I was four when my mom taught me to read and I've been soaking up the written word ever since.

1. Bea and Mr. Jones by Amy Schwartz

2. Super Fudge by Judy Blume

3. The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster

4. Ramona Quimby, Age 8 by Beverly Cleary

5. Are you there God? It's Me, Margaret by Judy Blume

6. Kristi's Great Idea by Ann M. Martin

7. Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark by Alvin Schwartz

8. Heaven by V.C. Andrews

9. Sweet Valley High by Francine Pascal

10. Secret of the Pyramids (Choose Your Own Adventure) by Richard Brightfield

11. Nothings Fair in Fifth Grade by Barthe DeClements

12. The Dollhouse Murders by Betty Ren Wright

13. Blubber by Judy Blume

Actually, I think I could have filled this entire list with Judy Blume or Beverly Cleary books. I don't think I've ever found an author I love so much in my adult life.

Who is your favorite author?
